Carrie Grier, Will Play Softball At Covenant

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe 2008 graduate Carrie Grier will be feeling great when she accepts her diploma at the end of the month.
Then she will embark on another educational venture. The Lady Warriors softball standout recently signed a scholarship to continue her career at Covenant College. Grier said she has a lot to look forward to now that she will be playing under former North Georgia softball standout Lisa Rogers.
“I’m really excited,” Grier said. “I always thought that I wasn’t good enough to play in college. I’m so thankful she’s giving me this opportunity.”
