Panthers Baseball Team Takes A Loss

The Ridgeland Panthers shook off a loss to LaFayette on Monday by hammering a pair of Chattanooga schools in a home doubleheader on Tuesday. Ridgeland opened the evening with a 6-0 win over Grace Baptist Academy.
Freshman Alex Ridge looked sharp again, facing just four hitters over the minimum in the complete game win.

Heritage Generals Swim Team Coach Announced

According to HHS Website:
Becky Forkner, PE teacher at Heritage Middle, will coach the Heritage Swim Team. The swim team will consist of 6th through 12th grade students at Heritage Middle and Heritage High. Mrs. Forkner is a veteran teacher in Catoosa County and has coached at Ringgold, Lakeview and Heritage.

LaFayette Hires Football Coach

The LaFayette Ramblers athletic program has found a new coach for their football program. They have hired Coach Swindall from Asheville, AL and he also brings two state championships with him. Coach Swindall will replace Tommy Welch , who left the Ramblers to go to Franklin County High School.
